Simcha is a Hebrew word that means joy. But when studied scripturally it is far more than the joy we know as humans. There is a supernatural level joy available to every one of us through God. This joy far exceeds what you could imagine according to the “earthly realm”. It is a supernatural joy given from God that we are actually designed to be able to live from.
This is not a joy dependent on circumstances, and this is not a joy that is limited to just a feeling. This supernatural fullness of joy strengthens us, and transforms even the deepest of soul wounds.
We are taught in our society to seek happiness, always striving and toiling for the next thing. What if I told you this was a trap?
